This week was spent preparing for the Final Presentation Night which is only getting closer each day. This involved creating invitations to mail to my guests and creating a program to give to the attendants when I am presenting.
The invitations for the Final Presentation Night were easy to create as I already created a pallet and layout that I could borrow from my ISM Showcase invitation. While creating my invitation, I realized that I would soon need to finalize the guest list for my final presentation. I had some idea of people I was planning to invite, but now I have started creating a finalized list of who I plan to invite to make sure I can send out the invitations before the week of the event.
Another item I need to prepare for the final presentation night is the classroom schedule. The classroom schedule introduces who I am and what I am researching while also outlining the points I will be talking about. As such, to create an accurate program, I need to know what I will talk about in my final speech. This led to me looking over everything I have done in ISM and creating a rough outline of what I want to cover in my final speech. For the schedule as a whole, I wanted to make sure it was visually appealing so it was easy and enjoyable for my guests to read. I made sure the colors and format fit the personal brand I created, the text is large enough to read easily, and it is overall insightful about my work so my guests are curious to hear more when I start my speech.
